Torino
Turin is best known as the stage of the 2006 winter Olympics. It is the home of the Shroud of Turin and is also known as the Automobile Capital of Italy as it is home to Fiat. Turin is a great city, packed with museums, galleries, parks and one of the biggest outdoor/indoor markets we’ve ever seen. It’s a city we could definitely see ourselves spending more time in.

Hi Nat and Tim: The third photo from the top, is it a cheese/meat shop or something more? I love the light and the ceiling. No wonder I don’t like shopping, it’s so unappealing here. I think I need to go to Turin.

Hi,
It’s actually a cafe, there’s a photo of the barista a little lower down, nice place.

I ended up in Turin by accident, I had to stay overnight and wait for a train to Rome. I ended up walking around for the day and really enjoyed the city.

We were in Piedmont for a week and went into Turin the day before we scheduled to leave. We both wished we had gone earlier in the week because we definitely would have gone back a few times. We even picked out a hotel, because we’ll be back.
