Wild mushrooms, big trees and good food
This week we were happy to have two beautifully sunny days and visitors from Vancouver. We ate some tasty meats from Oyama Sausage Co., drank craft beers and feasted on foraged mushrooms. The week ended with the tail end of tropical storm Ana and a rainbow.
You can see all photos here.
How did you spend your week?

The shell, what we used to call a “whale’s eye”, is beautiful!
Nat & Tim says
We know these ones as Moon Snails but I think they also go by the name Shark’s Eye and now whale’s eye too ๐

I’ll bet those mushrooms were delish! Wild mushrooms are always such a treat and so much more flavorful than domesticated versions. Here is a wonderful mushroom garden I visited in Mexico, http://travelswithcarole.blogspot.com/2012/09/things-to-do-xcaret-near-playa-del.html
