Ficulle, Orvieto and Assisi
After a night at The Beehive in Rome we picked up our rental from Auto Europe and headed to our house sit in Ficulle. So far we’ve met the mayor of Ficulle, had torta al testo, went to the Saturday market in Orvieto and visited the Basilica di San Francesco d’Assisi. Hope we can fill up the next 12 weeks, think we’ll manage?

How did you spend your week?
You guys are making me a little homesick. I’m not from that region but I spent 4 years of my life in Perugia when I was at university so I saw a bit of the surrounding towns. I’m glad you had a good start of your time in Italy. Did you like torta al testo?
Yes we loved the torts al testo, it’s similar to piadina in Emilia Romagna but the bread is a little thicker, very good. Thank you for the suggestion.
